VANESSSA FORD-LIEBETRAU

(B.PhEd, MSc Physiotherapy, MCSP)

Vanessa has worked as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in professional sporting environments, the UK's National Health Service (NHS), Occupational Health and private clinical settings in London, UK and Melbourne, Australia since qualifying in 2010. Vanessa is an APPI accredited Clinical Pilates Instructor and completed Reformer Pilates training with Balanced Body, London, UK.

Vanessa loves combining Pilates and Physiotherapy to get people back to health, fitness and doing the things they love - regardless of injury, chronic conditions, pain or dysfunction.

Vanessa has a special interest in back pain, TMJ dysfunction, musculoskeletal and pelvic health (including pre & post natal). A firm believer in holistic, personalized and progressive treatment, Vanessa combines manual and movement therapy to achieve long-lasting and empowering results.

Vanessa offers Group Mat and 1:1 Reformer Pilates Classes, The Back Plan (an online program to help you overcome Back Pain), and in-person Physiotherapy consultations in a GP clinic and home-studio setting.

Vanessa has a track record of successfully helping people overcome pain and injury through personalized consultations, tailored rehabilitation plans and carefully supported self-management.

Village Clinic has been the home for General Practitioners in Mount Eliza for nearly 50 years. It truly is your one stop shop for all your health needs. You'll find experienced doctors who work alongside their nursing team and reception staff.  In addition to physiotherapy, Village Clinic also has a podiatrist, psychologist, and a dietitian on staff.

The Back Plan is a 5 week, evidence based, Physiotherapy led, ONLINE program to help you conquer your back pain.

The Back Plan combines ONLINE, Physiotherapy consultations, education and an exercise program tailored to your needs, based on your goals, diagnosis, and function.

The Back Plan takes an evidence based, effective and holistic physiotherapy approach to back pain. It is available online, at a time and place that suits you.

Reformer Pilates

The Reformer is a great way to build full body strength, improve balance, increase flexibility, gain confidence and have fun exercising at any stage of injury, recovery or prevention.

At Ford Physio we believe Reformer Pilates compliments Physio treatment, and can be combined as part of your initial or follow-up session, or booked separately as a 1:1 Clinical or Reformer Pilates session.

The Reformer is a low-impact, dynamic, targeted approach to movement and it offers a safe way to rehabilitate, and increase physical activity levels despite pain or injury. It can challenge fitness and strength of any level - from elite athlete to beginner; there is something for everyone on the reformer!
